Hilarie Engle, executive director of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Boise affiliate, is announcing that Scentsy has donated $100,000 to the local organization.
Engle says the money will help support 2010-2011 community grants for under-insured and uninsured women in southern Idaho so they can receive breast health education, screening, and treatment services.
This donation is the largest single donation that the Boise Affiliate has received. Other funding for the grants program comes from the generous donations from the participants of Race for the Cure. The Boise Affiliate’s service area includes 19 counties in southern Idaho.
